Cookie Policy

MeetRobots Limited t/a Abracademy Last updated: September 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They help the platform function correctly, stay secure, and understand how it is being used. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage; where this policy refers to cookies, it includes those.

2. Cookies we use

When you sign in, an authentication cookie maintains your session. The other cookies below keep the platform secure and, where enabled, support analytics.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how the platform is being used so we can improve it. IP addresses are discarded before any data is stored. We do not share your name, email address or account with analytics providers, and no profile is built about you. These analytics run under the statistical purposes exception in UK law, which does not require your consent; you can turn them off at any time (see “Managing cookies” below).

PostHog keeps this data for one year and then deletes it.

3. What we do not use cookies for

We do not use cookies for:

  • Advertising or retargeting
  • Tracking users across third-party websites
  • Building behavioural profiles
  • Selling data to third parties

4. Managing cookies

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function.

Analytics is on by default. We rely on the exception under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, which permits analytics cookies without consent where they are used solely to measure how our own service is used, in aggregate form that cannot identify any individual. As that exception requires, you can object at any time on our cookie settings page (/legal/cookie-settings), which turns analytics off and deletes what has already been stored in your browser. This does not affect how the platform works.

Separately, most browsers also let you:

  • View and delete cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Clear all cookies when the browser is closed

For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit aboutcookies.org.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves and new features are added. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
